Hi, I'm Monique Xu, a picture book artist and illustrator now based in France.
Driven by a curiosity for life's subtle details, I love creating with watercolour, gouache and coloured pencils. My work aims to weave warmth, childlike wonder and intricate storytelling into images that feel both personal and universal.
I'm grateful that my art has been recognised internationally, including an Honorable Mention from the 3x3 International Illustration Awards and the Bronze Award at the China Golden Dragon Awards. I've had the pleasure of collaborating with publishers like CITIC Press and Jiangsu Phoenix Children's Publishing, and my popular science book The History of Time also received the National Outstanding Popular Science Work Award.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.
